Payment links

• A link's photo can be one of Payly's free photos.

Creator memberships

• The Membership levels block has a "Go to checkout after adding to cart" switch. It is on, so Join goes straight to checkout. Turn it off and Join adds the level to the cart, like the Shop block.

Fixed

• Deleting your payment links no longer suggests changing the design.
• The payment links menu no longer shows the word "null".

New things to make

• Six new kinds of site: New site now offers Payment form, Donation form, Event tickets, Creator memberships, Payment link and Tip jar, as well as a store. All but Payment link start from a ready-made template with its own photo, or from scratch.
• Payment forms: ask questions and take payment in one form, once or on a schedule, with pages, skip logic and prices on answers.
• Donation forms: one-time, monthly or yearly gifts, an optional goal bar, and a box that lets donors cover the processing fee.
• Event tickets: ticket types with limits, QR code tickets by email, and a Check in screen for the door.
• Creator memberships: members pay monthly or yearly to see your posts, with free and paid levels, comments and polls.
• Payment links: make a link in one screen, with a set amount or one the payer chooses. Links work right away with nothing to publish, and a link can switch itself off once it's paid.
• Tip jar: one-time or monthly tips, from a link or a QR code.

Cloudflare

• Connect once: after you connect Cloudflare the first time, every new site publishes to the same account with no Connect step. See or switch the account in Settings > Cloudflare account. To publish one site somewhere else, use its Settings > Hosting > Use a different Cloudflare account.
• Full account: if your Cloudflare free plan has no room for another store, Payly now says so and offers to publish it to a different account.

Memberships

• When a member cancels: members now keep access until the end of the period they paid for. A new setting lets you end access right away instead.

Your sites

• New site: you now choose a design or template first and name your site last. Your site is only created when you click Create; close the window before that and nothing is saved.
• Back and Create: every step after the first has a Back button, and the button that makes your site now says Create.
• Store category: New site no longer asks what kind of store it is. Choose a category in Settings > Directory when you list your store.

Editor

• Tour: Next now waits, greyed out, until you've done the step, so a quick second click no longer sends you back a card.

Cloudflare

• Confirm your email: if Cloudflare is waiting for you to confirm your email address, Payly now says so in your language, instead of showing Cloudflare's own message or asking you to reconnect.

Editor

• Video links: if Payly can't play a link you paste in a Video section, like an Instagram or Facebook link or a TikTok short link, the section now says so and tells you which links work.

Fixed

• The note on a page with no sections now shows in your store's language instead of English.

Editor

• Click words to change them: clicking words on your page opens the Settings panel at their text box, with the cursor in it so you can start typing. On a phone, tap the words twice.
• Change the design instead: the Delete site box now offers Change design, which switches your store to another design and keeps your products and settings.

Photos

• Just connected Cloudflare? New Cloudflare accounts take a few minutes to start. Upload now waits for your store and lets you choose your photo as soon as it's ready, instead of asking you to try again.

Shipping

• Rest of the world: a new box in a shipping zone's country list covers every country your other zones don't, so there's no need to pick countries one by one.

Domains

• Clearer messages, in your language, when a domain can't be connected, and Payly tries again by itself when Cloudflare is slow. Domains with accents are now accepted.

Fixed

• On a phone, the tour's Next button no longer moves from card to card, and a quick double tap no longer skips a card.
• A very long store name no longer stops Create site.

Categories

• Category pages: every category now has its own page, such as /category/mugs, showing its name and products. Change their design once with the new Category template in the editor. Publish your site once to turn them on.
• Categories block: show your categories on any page as picture tiles or buttons. Add a picture to a category in Categories, or it uses its first product's photo.

Links

• Link to a category or a product: menu links, footer links and buttons can now go straight to a category or a product, picked from a list. They follow it if you rename it.
• Fixed: a menu link you typed to a product page, such as /product/blue-mug, no longer disappears when you open the editor.

Gift cards

• Sell gift cards: a new Gift card product type. Set the amounts shoppers can pick, and Payly emails each card's code once it's paid. Shoppers can send a card to someone else, with a message.
• Pay with gift cards: customers type their code in "Discount code or gift card" at checkout. A card pays as much as it can, and they pay the rest by card or PayPal. Publish your site once so your checkout takes gift cards.
• At your counter: sell plastic or digital gift cards in Point of sale, and take them with the new Gift card button.
• Gift cards screen: a new Gift cards screen in your site dashboard. Create cards by hand, search, change a balance, send the email again or turn a card off.
• My account: customers see their gift cards and what's left on them.
• Reports: a gift card counts as a sale when it's spent, not when it's sold. The Sales report shows gift cards sold and what's still on them.

Point of sale

• Split payments: take part of a sale in cash or another way, and the rest with a different payment.

Point of sale

• Sell in person: a new Point of sale screen in your site dashboard. Take cash, record other payments, or take cards with a Stripe card reader.
• Card readers: add a Stripe card reader in Settings, Payments.
• Store address: a new Store address in Settings, General. The point of sale opens once it's saved, and in-person sales are taxed at this address.
• Orders: in-person sales are marked "In person", with their own filter.
• Turn it off: a new Point of sale switch in Settings, Features.

Close your own tickets

• Open a ticket in the Help window and press Mark as closed. Replying opens it again.

• Your tickets: Contact support now lists the tickets you have sent, with their status: Waiting for Payly, Payly replied or Closed.
• Read and reply: Open a ticket to see the whole conversation and reply right there. Replying to a closed ticket opens it again.

Place your WhatsApp button anywhere

• Manual placement: a new Button position in Integrations, WhatsApp. It hides the corner button so you can place the button yourself.
• WhatsApp button block: a new block in the Marketing group. Put it on any page.
• Header menu: a new "Show WhatsApp button" switch, with its own text, look and colors.
• Button order: drag the search, WhatsApp, account and cart buttons in your header menu into any order.
• Next to Add to cart: a new "Show WhatsApp button" switch on the Product details block.
• Product in the message: on a product page, the WhatsApp message names the product and links to it. Turn it off or write your own message in Integrations.

Your own currency symbol

• Currency symbol: Type your own symbol, or leave it empty to show prices without one. You'll find it in Settings, under Currency.
• Symbol position: Choose whether the symbol goes before or after the price, with or without a space.
• Your store, checkout, receipts, customer accounts and order emails all use it. Republish your store after a change so every page shows it.

Background photos on sections

• Focus point: Drag the dot to the part of the photo that should always show, so it never gets cropped out on smaller screens.
• Show the whole picture: A new switch that makes the section tall enough to show the entire photo, with nothing cropped.
• You can set both of these separately for desktop, tablet and phone.
• The editor now crops background photos the same way your live store does.
