Only signed-in customers

Only customers signed in to your store can write a review, so you do not get anonymous spam. A Verified purchase label marks reviewers who bought the product.

You decide what goes live

Publish reviews as soon as they are posted, or hold each one for your approval. Approve, reject or reply from the Reviews screen.

Ratings where shoppers look

Each product page shows its star rating beside the price, with the reviews below. The average rating also appears next to each product in your shop.

Reviews are on for every new store, with nothing to install.

Choose how reviews go live

In Settings > Features, set New reviews to Publish immediately or Hold for my approval.
Customers write them

A signed-in customer chooses 1 to 5 stars on the product page, writes what they thought and clicks Post review.
Approve and reply

In Reviews, approve, reject or reply to each one. Your reply appears under the review, labeled Store reply.

Honest answers

Are product reviews free on Payly?

Yes. Reviews are built into every Payly store, with no app to install, and Payly has no paid tier. If you do not want them, switch them off in Settings > Features.

Who can leave a review?

Customers who are signed in to your store. Customers get an account when their first order is paid, and sign in with a link or code emailed to them.

Can I approve reviews before they appear?

Yes. In Settings > Features, set New reviews to Hold for my approval. New reviews then wait under Awaiting approval on the Reviews screen until you approve them.

Can a customer review the same product twice?

No. Each customer has one review per product. Writing again changes their earlier review instead of adding a second.

Can I remove a review?

Yes. Reject it to hide it, or delete it for good. A rejected review stays hidden even if its author edits it later.
