About Payly

Payly is a complete ecommerce platform with hosting built in, and it is free. Not free for a while, not free until you grow - free, with no cut of your sales.

Why it exists

Selling something online should not begin with a monthly bill. Most platforms charge you to exist, then charge you again on every sale for the privilege of using your own Stripe or PayPal account. For a small shop that is a meaningful share of the margin, taken before the first order arrives.

We thought that was backwards, so we built the alternative: a full storefront, checkout, hosting, domain and analytics, with nothing held back and nothing to upgrade to.

How we make money

We are an official Stripe and PayPal partner. That partnership is what funds the platform, which means we are paid for bringing volume to processors you were going to use anyway - not for taxing your sales.

Your money never passes through us. You connect your own Stripe or PayPal account and customers pay you directly, so there is nothing for us to hold, delay, or take a share of.

What we will not do

• We will not put advertising on your site.
• We will not sell your data, or your customers' data, to anyone.
• We will not move existing features behind a paid tier later.

Who builds it

Payly is made by WPPlugin LLC, which has been building ecommerce software since 2015. Hundreds of millions of dollars in payments have been processed through our software in that time - by Stripe and PayPal, into merchants' own accounts.
