Honest answers
Is Payly really free?
Yes. There is no monthly fee, no transaction fee and no paid tier. Stripe and PayPal charge their standard processing fees, as they would on any platform. How can this possibly be free?
Can I bring my Squarespace products?
Yes. Type your store's address or upload Squarespace's product export. Names, descriptions with their formatting, prices and sale prices, photos, options and variants, stock, categories and tags all come over. Nothing changes on your Squarespace site.
Can I bring my Squarespace design?
No platform exports a design that works anywhere else, Squarespace included. Pick one of Payly's designs, complete with photos and words, and make it yours.
Can I keep my domain?
Yes. Add it to your free Cloudflare account and attach it to your store. The domain stays yours, wherever you bought it.
What's the catch?
Stripe and PayPal charge their standard processing fees, as they would anywhere. Your store runs on your own free Cloudflare account, which comfortably covers most stores; a very busy store may need Cloudflare's $5 a month plan, paid to Cloudflare. And Payly is made for selling online: there is no point of sale for in-person sales.
