Honest answers
Is the tip jar really free?
Yes. There is no fee on tips, no monthly fee and no paid tier. PayPal and Stripe charge their standard processing fees on each tip, as they would on any platform. How can this possibly be free?
Can people tip every month?
Yes, when you allow it. PayPal or Stripe charges each monthly tip on schedule, straight to your own account.
Do people need an account to tip?
No. They type their email for the receipt and pay with PayPal or a card.
Where can I share it?
Anywhere a link works: your bio, your stream, your website or an email. Or print the QR code on a sign or a card.
How many tip jars can I have?
Each tip jar runs in your own Cloudflare account, like a store. Cloudflare's free plan holds up to 100 tip jars and forms in one account, fewer if it also holds stores. Its $5 a month plan holds up to 500, paid to Cloudflare. Payly stays free either way. What the free plan covers
