Is Payly really free?

Yes. There is no monthly fee, no transaction fee and no paid tier. Stripe and PayPal charge their standard processing fees, as they would on any platform. How can this possibly be free?

Do I have to close my Etsy shop?

No. You can keep your Etsy shop and run your own store alongside it, where Payly takes nothing from your sales.

Can I bring my Etsy listings?

Yes. Download your listings file from Shop Manager and upload it. Titles, descriptions, prices, photos, variations, stock and tags come over. Etsy doesn't export a price for each variation, so you set those after importing.

How will shoppers find my store?

Etsy brings shoppers to you. Your own store needs you to bring them: your packaging, social media and email signature are a good start, and Payly's analytics show which ones work. You can also list your store in Payly's store directory.

What's the catch?

Stripe and PayPal charge their standard processing fees, as they would anywhere. Your store runs on your own free Cloudflare account, which comfortably covers most stores; a very busy store may need Cloudflare's $5 a month plan, paid to Cloudflare. And Payly is your own store, not a marketplace, so shoppers come because you send them.
