Accessibility
Payly is run by WPPlugin LLC. We want everyone to be able to use Payly: the people building a store, and the people shopping in one. Last updated November 1, 2026.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. That covers payly.org, the help center, the Payly dashboard, and the pages Payly builds for merchants' stores.
What we do
- We test our pages with automated accessibility checks and by hand: with only a keyboard, at phone and desktop sizes, and in light and dark mode.
- Every store is built from Payly's own templates, so a fix we make reaches every store at once.
- Videos on payly.org have captions.
- When a store owner picks colors that are hard to read, the store editor warns them and suggests a fix.
What we don't control
- Store owners choose their own words, pictures and colors. Each store owner is responsible for describing their pictures and keeping their content easy to read.
- Payments are taken on Stripe's and PayPal's own pages. Those companies are responsible for the accessibility of their pages.
Tell us about a problem
If something on Payly is hard to use with your device or assistive technology, email support@payly.org or use our contact form. Tell us the page and what happened. We aim to reply within 5 business days.
