Honest answers
How is it different from a membership?
A monthly tip is a thank-you, with nothing locked. For members-only posts and levels, use Creator memberships.
Who charges each month?
PayPal or Stripe, as a subscription on your own account. Payly never holds the money.
Is it really free?
Yes. There is no monthly fee, no transaction fee and no paid tier. PayPal and Stripe charge their standard processing fees on each payment, as they would on any platform. How can this possibly be free?
