How can an animal rescue take donations online without platform fees?

Choose a donation page that pays each gift straight into your own PayPal or Stripe account. Check whether it adds a fee of its own, or asks your donors for a tip, on top of the standard processing fee. Offer monthly giving for steady care costs, and send a receipt for every gift.

Connect PayPal or Stripe, then publish

Can donors choose where their gift goes?

Yes. The Animal rescue template asks where the gift should go, with where it's needed most, vet care and foster homes. Change the choices to fit your rescue. You see each donor's answer with their gift in your dashboard.

Can I put a QR code on a flyer or at an event?

Yes. Every form has a link to share and a QR code to print. Put the code on a flyer, at the front desk or on a table at an event, and visitors can give from their phones.

Does cash from our donation jar count toward the goal bar?

No. The bar counts only gifts paid on your form, so cash or any gift taken another way is left out. Refunds come off the total. How the goal bar works.

We have a nonprofit rate. Can donors still cover the fee?

Yes. Switch on the cover-the-fee box, and Payly fills in the standard rate for your country. Type your own rate over it if you have a nonprofit discount. Donors tick the box or leave it. Cover the fee.

Is it really free?
