How can a consultant take paid bookings for calls online?

Put your open times on a booking page and ask clients to pay when they book. Offer a short free intro call to see if you are a good fit, and charge for the full consultation up front. Connect your calendar so no one books over a meeting, and ask what the call is about so you can prepare.

How consultation bookings work in Payly

You set the calls and the hours. PayPal or Stripe collects each payment.

Start from the Consultation template

In Your sites, click New, choose Calendar Bookings, then Consultation. You get a free intro call, a consultation, a follow-up call and two questions. Change any of them.
Set prices, hours and where you meet

Check the price on each call. Choose Google Meet, phone, in person or your own video link. Then adjust your weekly hours and minimum notice.
Connect payments and publish

In your dashboard's Settings, open Payments and connect PayPal or Stripe. Publish, then share your link. The page runs on your own free Cloudflare account. Create a booking page

How can this possibly be free?

Can I keep a follow-up call for existing clients only?

Yes. Turn on Hide from your page for that service. It stays off your booking page, but anyone you send its own link to can still book it. Copy the link from the service in the builder.

How do clients in other time zones know when the call is?

Your hours use the time zone you set. Clients see every open time in their own time zone, and their emails show the date and time as it is for them, with Add to calendar links.

Can a client buy a package of calls?

No. Packages of sessions and repeating bookings are not supported, and neither are deposits. Each call is booked and paid for on its own.

What if a client cancels a paid consultation?

Clients can cancel or pick a new time until the cutoff you set, such as 24 hours before, and the time opens up again. Payments are not refunded automatically: you decide, and refund from your Bookings screen. See and manage your bookings

Is it really free?

Yes. There is no monthly fee, no transaction fee and no paid tier. PayPal and Stripe charge their standard processing fees on each payment, as they would on any platform. How can this possibly be free?
