Neartail has no free plan, only a 7-day trial with 20 free responses. Plans then start at $18 a month billed yearly, or $36 billed monthly. Payly has no plans at all.
Neartail's plans allow 100, 250 or 500 responses a month, shared by all your forms. Payly sets no limit on responses.
Neither one adds a fee to your orders. On both, you pay PayPal's or Stripe's standard fee, as you would on any platform.
Neartail adds real order tools to Google Forms, and it comes with a monthly plan.
After the 7-day trial, every Neartail plan is paid: $18, $28 or $38 a month billed yearly, or $36, $56 or $76 billed monthly.
The yearly price is a 12-month contract. Neartail's pricing page says it is not refundable, though a partial refund can be requested. Billed monthly, each plan costs twice as much.
Basic allows 100 responses a month, Premium 250 and Business 500, shared by all your forms. At the limit, Neartail's page says to upgrade to a bigger plan.
Neartail adds prices and payment to a Google Form, so you need a Google account to build it and install the add-on, and orders go to your Google Sheet. Payly is a form builder of its own, so there is no add-on to install.

100 orders of $25 is $2,500 in sales. Basic is Neartail's smallest plan that fits 100 responses, and the totals use its yearly price of $18. Billed monthly ($36), Neartail's totals are $172.25 with PayPal and $138.50 with Stripe. Neartail adds no fee to each order. Card fees are PayPal's 3.49% + $0.49 at checkout or Stripe's 2.9% + 30 cents for US cards, the same on both sides. The seller pays the plan and the card fees. The trial, taxes and shipping are not counted. Neartail has quantity pickers, stock counts and coupons that Payly's forms lack. Neartail pricing as published November 2026.
You build the form and set the prices. PayPal or Stripe collects each payment.
In Your sites, click New and choose Payment form. Start from a template or from scratch.
Put prices on the answers of a multiple choice, checkbox or dropdown question, or let people type an amount. Charge the total once or on a schedule.
Your form runs on your own free Cloudflare account. Payments go straight to your own PayPal or Stripe, and each payer gets a receipt by email.
Yes. There is no monthly fee, no transaction fee and no paid tier. PayPal and Stripe charge their standard processing fees, as they would on any platform. How can this possibly be free?
Only for a short time. Neartail has no free plan, just a 7-day trial in which the first 20 responses are free. After that you need a paid plan, even for one small sale. Payly has no plan and adds no fee, whatever you sell.
No. Neartail's plans are flat monthly prices, and it says it charges no fee on each order. You still pay PayPal's or Stripe's standard fee, as on any platform. The difference is the plan: $18 or $36 a month on Basic, and $0 on Payly.
A lot for orders. Neartail has quantity pickers, stock counts that show Out of stock at zero, coupon codes and automatic discounts, tax and shipping formulas, and manual payment methods such as Venmo, Cash App and bank transfer. It also has an orders board with printable packing sheets, and it works inside Google Forms and Google Sheets. A Payly form has no quantity box, stock counts, discount codes, sales tax or shipping rates. For two of something, offer "2 T-shirts" as its own choice. If you need stock counts or coupons, Neartail may suit you better. Take orders with a form
No. Payly is a form builder of its own, not an add-on, so you build the form in Payly. It has every Google Forms question type plus email, phone, number, name and address, with pages, skip logic and file uploads. Payly keeps your responses, with what each person paid, and you can download them as a CSV file.
Payly has no importer for forms, so moving means building the form again. Make a payment form in Payly (the T-shirt order template is a good start), put a price on each answer, connect PayPal or Stripe and publish. The first time, Payly asks you to connect your free Cloudflare account, which hosts the form. Then share the new link where you shared the old one. Nothing changes on your Google Form or your Neartail account, and past orders stay in your Google Sheet.
Your form, your payment account, your customers. The only thing you pay is normal PayPal and Stripe processing fees.
