How do I take tour bookings and payments online?

Use one booking form that you share as a link. Ask which tour, which date and how many people are coming, show the price beside each choice, and take payment in the same step, so a booking is paid for when it is made. Add a page for your safety rules, and say how weather cancellations work before anyone pays. With Payly you build that form free, and guests pay your own PayPal or Stripe account.

In Your sites, click New, choose Payment form and pick Kayak tour. Swap in your own tours, times and boats, and change the prices.
Set your prices and rules

Price each tour and boat, and keep the safety page. Add a notes question for health conditions.
Connect PayPal or Stripe, then publish

Your form runs on your own free Cloudflare account. Share its link or print its QR code. Each guest gets a receipt by email, and you get a New order email.

Honest answers

Can I limit the number of guests on each tour?

Not for one tour or date. The limit applies to the whole form: close it after a number of bookings. Each answer counts as one booking, however many people it covers. To cap one departure, make a separate form for it.

What if I cancel a tour for weather?

Refund the payment from the Payments screen, in full, for chosen items or for an amount you choose. The Kayak tour template tells guests up front that a weather cancellation means a full refund, and you can change that wording.

Can guests pay a deposit and the rest on the day?

Yes. Put both on one question, such as Pay in full and Pay a deposit now, the rest on the day, each with its own price. Payly charges only the price the guest chose, and you collect the rest yourself.

Can one booking cover a group or several tours?

Yes. A Checkboxes question adds every ticked tour to the total, and Multiple choice takes just one. A choice has no quantity box, so offer a group as its own choice, such as a double kayak for 2 people.

Is it really free?

Yes. There is no monthly fee, no transaction fee and no paid tier. PayPal and Stripe charge their standard processing fees on each payment, as they would on any platform. How can this possibly be free?
