Honest answers

When do clients pay?

When they book. They pick a time, answer your questions and pay, and the booking is made once the payment goes through.

What happens if a client cancels a paid booking?

The time opens up again. Payments are not refunded automatically: you decide, and refund from your dashboard.

Is it cheaper than Calendly?

Yes, for paid bookings. Calendly takes payments only on its Standard plan or higher: $10 a month per person billed yearly, or $12 billed monthly. Payly has no plan to buy. Stripe or PayPal charge their standard processing fees with either one. For example, 20 paid $50 bookings a month by card through Stripe in the US cost $35.00 in Stripe fees. In all, that comes to $45.00 to $47.00 a month with Calendly, and $35.00 with Payly.

Is it really free?

Yes. There is no monthly fee, no transaction fee and no paid tier. PayPal and Stripe charge their standard processing fees on each payment, as they would on any platform. How can this possibly be free?
